In my package design class, we designed the die line, layout and voted on what was going to be in it. It was decided that it will be fruit candies. This immediately began my ideas flowing. I am a gal who loves her chocolate but on occasion I will snack on some fruit candies. Both tangy, fruity and sweet. One of my favorite fruits are mangoes. I used the color of a mango with the oranges, reds and yellows. As for the design, I imagined space candy. Just because honestly, I really don’t understand how fruit jelly candies were made or even discovered. Sometimes I feel that aliens have come and put them together, since my children will eat these over a piece of chocolate. No seriously, I also envisioned a fruit candy that can be eaten in space or have that kind of consistency.
