In my package design class, we were given the assignment to design a cylinder filled with the small plastic animals. It was such a broad project considering there are a lot of animals on this Earth. With my brainstorming, I narrowed it down to sea animals, jungle animals and farm animals. I had so many ideas it was hard to narrow it down until I realized that I have a connection to the farm. I grew up in Bluffdale, Utah and we had a farm. It was a small farm with goats, chickens, ducks and other small inside creatures. Now I live by Gardner Village, a historic place with all older homes and a feel of what Salt Lake City was like a hundred years ago. I walked around there and was inspired to design my cylinder after all these incidents in my life. For my cylinder, I photographed the barn door from Gardner Village.
