How I met my husband is not a story that you hear often. I was lucky enough to have met him in high school. We had too many coincidences. It first started out attending a sweet sixteen birthday party in the summer and he was there too. I was not aware that he even knew my friend. Then when school started he was in my English class. The English teacher attempted to put the class in alphabetical order and yet I was a Smith and he is a Steckler and she placed him between two Smith’s. And then my friend made me go to a girls preference dance and I didn’t even know anyone nor had the confidence to attend. She orchestrated the whole thing and put the two of us together. From then on, it was love and we couldn’t stop seeing each other. He was my first date, first kiss and my high school sweetheart. I wanted to design something that would reflect this story from my past. The only challenge that I had was the specific colors that we had to use. My teacher gave us paint samples with four colors that we needed to find the right Pantone color to match and then organize it in a way that is pleasing to the eye.
